SOPHIE GAMAND is an interspecies, multidisciplinary artist, photographer and animal chaplain.

SOPHIE observes the entanglement between dogs and humans, through an ecofeminist lens, and what it reveal about our species and the world we share.

Anchored in photography, SOPHIE’s work lives at the intersection of art, science, and spirituality. Using a multitude of tools, from hand-stitched embroidery to new media, sculptures or installations, SOPHIE tells powerful stories of dogs and humans coexisting.

SOPHIE invokes dogs as mirrors and spiritual bridges, witnesses and guides, teaching us how to live in a world we have ravaged.
