LONGTIMERS GET A NEW HEADSHOT

I stopped by the Annenberg PetSpace (Los Angeles), to help boost a few longtimers they have. Adoptions have slowed down greatly this past year all around the country, and Los Angeles is feeling it, with most adoptables being big dogs - harder to place. Several of the Annenberg dogs face health or/and behavioral challenges, which makes it even harder to find a good match.

And there was Porky, whose sweet face reminded me of the infamous “ugly” medieval dog, a detail from a much larger painting on view at the Musée des beaux arts de Dijon in France.
Tell me you see it too - or is it just me?!
I made a cute reel about this.
(Porky was adopted since).

Dove was also adopted after our shoot - before her photos went live. She had waited for months! Michael and his daughter were looking for a senior pet that can spend time with them and keep Michael company. He was looking for a calm, affectionate pup to take on walks and chill out by his side at home. Dove checked off all those boxes and more! She is totally smitten with Michael and was all over him in their meet-and-greet. Dove can now embrace her golden years in her forever home and say hello to some horses every morning that live in the back of Michael’s home. She is off to live her best life!

Good luck to all the dogs!
