The Dog Talisman holds space for grief, love, hope and tenderness, as it sits quietly with you on your journey. It can also act as a votive, and a protector of animals who may be at risk (your own companion, wildlife, or a shelter animal).
The Dog Talisman offers deep presence and comfort.
HOW TO USE YOUR TALISMAN
Made of ceramic. Handle with great care. The bottom of the talisman is rough and might scratch delicate surfaces. Consider placing a piece of felt or fabric underneath it.
While the Dog Talisman is portable, I recommend you keep it well wrapped if you carry it with you out in the world. The ears can be fragile, and the talisman might chip.
Place the Dog Talisman in a space that needs tenderness: your home, your sacred corner, your office, a memorial, or a simple shelf.
This talisman is a quiet witness. It can act as a grief-holder, helping you carry what can’t always be spoken in words. It can also act as a protector for a beloved animal, or a worry stone.
Whether you need the talisman for protection or as a grief companion, or simply a witness, sit with it, hold it, speak to it, give it a name, read the blessing provided for support, or write your own words of intention.
